Research
My clinical research is focused on outcome data of hepatobiliary and transplantation patients while laboratory work is aimed at novel treatments for people with colorectal liver cancer.
Over the past 12 years I have co-supervised eight postgraduate fellows working towards PhDs and MDs, looking at the antiangiogenic action of COX2 inhibitors on colorectal liver cancer cells and producing a potential vaccination for colorectal liver cancer.
Author of over 120 publications and co-applicant for several research grants.

Interests outside medicine
Ex-first class cricketer and rugby player, still playing just!
