Training Day

Upper GI and Hepatobiliary Surgery
John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

On Wednesday 8 September, AUGIS will be holding a Training Day at the John Radcliffe Hospital and offers a fantastic opportunity to be trained by not only some of the United Kingdom’s best Upper GI surgeons, but also some well known Surgeons from around the world who are participating in the main AUGIS Conference.

The Programme will include:

  • Sessions on operative surgery, divided up into two groups, Oesophagogastric and HPB
  • “What do I do next?”
    Small group tutorials with leading experts on pancreatic, biliary, UGI and Obesity topics
  • To finish the day, 2 lectures from our outgoing and incoming Presidents!

Places will be limited and are expected to go very quickly. Delegates must be Associate Members and registered for the AUGIS Meeting. University accommodation will be available for the meeting in a variety of Colleges in Oxford. The Barrett’s Club Annual Dinner will be held in the evening at the Jamie's Italian and transport for this will be included.
