The AUGIS Annual Scientific Meeting will be taking place at the Examination Schools, Oxford. Centrally located at 75-81 The High Street, the venue is within easy walking distance from Oxford Train station and is also accessbile by bus and the Oxford Park and Ride.

Built between 1876 and 1881 and designed to house the University’s examinations at the heart of Oxford’s city centre, the impressive Examination Schools is brimming with beautiful architectural features from sweeping Italian marble staircases to ornate wooden carvings and original Victorian fireplaces. 

Please note that there will be Prayer Room as well as a Parent and Child room at the venue and further details will be available in due course

Getting there

By train: Oxford railway station is approximately a 20 minute walk away or 10 minutes by taxi. Bikes can be hired at the train station or around the city.

By bus: The nearest bus stop and airport bus stops are on the High Street just outside the Examination Schools (Queen’s Lane stop). Information about buses in the city can be found here.

By park and ride: See below or Click here for further information

By car: There is no car parking on site so we recommend using the park and ride system. Alternatively car parks are available across the city. The nearest one is St Clements.
