Education & Research

AUGIS has provided a series of educational webinars to members to ensure education for everyone despite the disruption of the pandemic. The webinars are recorded and available to view post event.

Our Surgical Specialty Research Leads have continued with their great work over the last twelve months, to ensure that research work continues.

In the meantime, discussions and planning for the UGI Congress 2021 which is due to take place in Belfast between the 13 - 15 October 2021 are continuing. The UGI Congress Committee hope that the congress can take place this year in Belfast and working with the GBIHPBA, Pancreas Society of GB and Ireland, and the UKI EUS users group, the programme will be exciting, informative and educational. We look forward to a face to face meeting and the opportunity to network and for those who cannot attend in person, we hope to provide an online platform so that you can join too.

Further details will follow shortly.
