Steve Hornby
I am an Upper GI Surgeon and Clinical Lead for the Three Counties Oesophagogastric Centre in Gloucestershire with close professional relationships throughout the Southwest. I am an Honorary Surgical Tutor at Bristol Medical School and Preceptor with CMR Surgical.
My UGI interests include oesophagogastric cancer, surgical robotics, and surgical training. I served as President and Director of Education of the Association of Surgeons in Training giving me broad insight into surgical services and training on a national level. I aim to bring expertise in organising meetings and training courses to Southwest colleagues and to engage enthusiastically in wider council activities
