We are pleased to announce the appointment of Hari Nageswaran as the new Wales Representative on AUGIS Council.
Hari Nagewsaran
I work as an Upper GI Surgeon in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, South Wales. I’ve been a registrar in most regions of Wales and have close links with multiple centres throughout the country. I also qualified from UCL, junior doctored in London, core trained in Southwest, researched in KSS and fellowed in Bristol. I therefore also have close links with large centres in England.
My interests are research in benign UGI surgery and weight loss interventions. I am working to develop clinical services in my health board and would like to attract more educational and training activities into Wales.
