This page is for our Faculty members including those whose abstracts have been accepted for oral presenation at AUGIS 2023. Please could we ask you to read the following information in preparation for AUGIS 2023

For Abstract Oral Presenters

Compiling Presentations for Oral Presentations (Abstract Authors only)

  • The Oral Presentations timetable can be found at the bottom of this email and will include details of when you will be presenting. Please make a note of your Submission number and your Presentation number.

  • All presentations are to be compiled using Power Point and should be saved to a USB stick. Any video/film content should be supplied separately, either via USB or DVD and not embedded within the presentation.
  • If you wish to send your presentation before the meeting, please upload to the following Dropbox folder by Sunday 24th September 2023: https://www.dropbox.com/request/TggUroXLCJdcSflRBbuH
  • If you upload your presentation beforehand please ensure you bring a copy of your presentation on the day in case of any technical issues
  • Please ensure you name your presentation as follows: Surname_Day of Presentation_Category: eg: Bartlett_Thursday_HPB
  • Please ensure that your presentations and/or videos are in 16:9 ratio
  • Speakers will be required to provide their presentations to the Audio Visual Technician, from 12:00 on Wednesday afternoon and/or from 9am on Thursday
  • Abstracts accepted for the Prize Paper Session on Wednesday 27th September will have 7 minutes for their presentation and 3 minutes for questions
  • Abstracts accepted for the Free Paper Sessions on Thursday 28th September will have 7 minutes for their presentation and 2 minutes for questions.
  • All presenters are asked to refer to the AUGIS Presenters Code of Conduct

For Presenting Speakers

 Information for Presenting Speakers Only

  • All presentations are to be compiled using Power Point and any video/film content should be supplied separately and not embedded within the presentation. If made on a Mac they need to be tested on a windows machine, the video files can be embedded, you just need to compress and optimise media. 
  • Please ensure you name your presentation as follows, (including the room number where you will be presenting): Room No_ Day_Time of Presentation_Surname: eg: MR6_ Thursday_1145_Bartlett
  • Please ensure that your presentations and/or videos are in 16:9 ratio
  • If you wish to upload your presentation beforehand, please upload your presentation to:  https://www.dropbox.com/request/tfchXojyhj4SoMTgq63b
  • Please can we ask you to upload your presentation by Friday 20th September
  • If you do upload or send your presentation prior to the meeting, please ensure you have a copy with you on the day as a back-up.
  • The Audio Visual Technician will be present in your presentation room from 11:00 on Wednesday afternoon and/or from 8am on Thursday/Friday.

AUGIS expenses form

If you have been notified by AUGIS that the association will cover any travel and accommodation expenses, please complete and returrn the form below, along with the relevant receipts to Sarvjit Wünsch (sarvjit@augis.org). 

Please note that expense claims must be submitted within three months of the expenses incurred.
