This year we are using the Roux Weekend App for all our delegates and attendees to help navigate around the Roux Weekend, find out more about the sessions, connect with colleagues, speaker and exhibitors. 

All delegates should receive an email inviting them to download the AUGIS Meeting App and then log on to the Roux Weekend Event. If you have not received the email, please check your junk email or contact the AUGIS office nichola@augis.org

Once you have downloaded the App you can choose the Roux Weekend Event and then log in to the app with your first name, second name and email which you registered for the meeting with. You will then be sent a verification email to your email address and then you are away.

Information for presenting authors

Please find below information for accepted authors who will be presenting oral presentations at the Roux Weekend. 

The presentations will take place on Saturday 23 March in the Prize Presentation Session which will take place from 09:00 - 10:40. Presenting authors will have 7 minutes for their presentation and 3 minutes for questions. 

Please follow the guidelines below for your presentation:

• All presentations are to be compiled using Power Point and should be saved to a USB stick. Any video/film content should be supplied separately, and not embedded within the presentation.
• Please ensure you name your presentation as follows: Surname_Programme No_: eg: Bartlett_CS1
• Please ensure that your presentations and/or videos are in 16:9 ratio
• Please ensure you bring a copy of your presentation on a USB stick in case there are any IT issues
• If you are able to upload your oral presentation beforehand, could we ask that you use  upload your oral presentation to the Roux Group Weekend 2024 Dropbox folder - you should have received an email with further details and contact nichola@augis.org if you require the details

• Please upload your presentation by Monday 18th March 2024

Chesford Grange Hotel

The Roux Weekend will be taking place at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2LD.

The hotel has free onsite parking and if you are travelling by train we would recommend either Warwick Parkway or Leamington Spa. You can then get a taxi to the hotel.

For those who are registering for the whole weekend of the Roux Weekend (including accommodation and the Gala Dinner), you will be booked into a single occupancy room on the night of Friday 22 March which will also include breakfast on the Saturday morning. Further details about your accomodation will be emailed to you closer to the event. Please contact the AUGIS office if you have any queries. 

Registration is now closed for the Roux Weekend 2024

If you are an AUGIS member you will need to include your AUGIS Membership number when registering to you will see the membership registration rate which is relevant to your membership category. 

The Full Weekend registration fee for AUGIS Trainee Members will cover the Roux Weekend meeting from 12:30on  Friday 22 March to 16:30 on Saturday 23 March, and includes the Roux Group Gala Dinner on the evening of Friday 22 March and overnight accommodation at The Chesford Grange Hotel, including breakfast on the Saturday morning.

Pre Meeting course Friday 23 March: £20

*Weekend rate includes gala dinner and 1 night accommodation at The Chesford Grange Hotel (Friday 22^nd night)

You can register online through the links below and if you are an AUGIS Member please ensure that you include your membership number when registering as this will allow you to view and book under the registration rate appropriate to your membership category. Please note that you will only see the discounted rate relevant to your membership category.

By registering for this meeting you are agreeing for AUGIS to display your name and hospital on your delegate badge, and to share your name and hospital details with our industry partners and faculty members. Please contact the AUGIS office if you require further information.

Registration is now closed

Delegates for the Roux Weekend can also book onto the Pre- Meeting courses which take place from 09:00 - 11:00 on Friday 22 March 2024 prior to the start of the Roux Weekend Meeting. 

The Pre-Meeting skills courses are only open to delegates attending the Roux Weekend (so you must ensure that you have registered for the weekend meeting) and there will limited places available. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Roux 2024 Meeting Conditions of Booking

Please note that refunds will not be made on any registration or fees cancelled after 21 February 2024. Cancellations made before 21 February 2024 will be subjective to a 10% administrative charge.

Registration for non-members

If you register at the non-member rate and subsequently join AUGIS as a member, we will only reimburse the difference between the member and non-member registration fee if you join AUGIS as a member within 14 days of booking for an AUGIS event. If you join AUGIS as a member after 14 days we will not reimburse the difference between the member and non-member registration rate for this event.
