1. Outstanding Contribution to an AUGIS Committee

This award is designed to recognise outstanding individual contributions to AUGIS This award is open to members of AUGIS Council  (e.g. regional representatives, AHP leads) and members of AUGIS subcommittees (Roux, AHP, GBIHPBA, BBGUS, Bariatrics, OG Cancer, education). Members of the AUGIS Executive are excluded. This could be through leadership, innovation, delivery of education and training, delivery of research. Applications can be self-nominations, or nominations can be made on behalf of an AUGIS committee member.

The successful applicant/s will receive free registration at the AUGIS conference a financial award (TBC). The award ceremony will take place at the AUGIS annual conference. The winner is required to attend to receive their prize. .

Eligibility

The applicant/nominee must be an active AUGIS committee member to be eligible.

2. AUGIS Subcommittee of the year Award

This is a group award that recognises outstanding activity undertaken in the past year by an AUGIS Subcommittee (Roux, AHP, GBIHPBA, BBGUS, Bariatrics, OG Cancer, Education). This could be due to innovation, delivery of education and training above expected, other activities.  Applications by a member of the subcommittee.

The award ceremony will take place at the AUGIS annual conference. The winning subcommittee is required to send a representative to receive [AA1]  their prize. .
